Fuel Shutoffs on 06 RS Venture?

Dealer says I don't need them. But we always put them on the old sleds we had, as trailering them would flood them out. So when you got to where you were going and wanted to ride, they wouldn't start.

The book says to keep the level in the tank lower than the carbs. Don't know that this is always possible. Especially when filling up on the trailer before a ride.

Do I worry about this on this new 4stroke sled?

Thanks.

Not the 06 Yamaha RS Venture. 05-08 are carb'd.

I expect that we'll see a new touring sled from Yamaha next year. Possibly with the new 130 FI motor....
