What's wrong with the stock exhaust? Just wondering as I may be interested in a Phazer if the MM 700 is too much sled for the wife.

The stock exhaust is too quiet for some and you can make the sled lighter and more powerful with aftermarket exhaust.
Hauck makes a nice setup, they definetly know their stuff when it comes to Yamaha performance.

Interesting!
I personally like a quiet sled and the stock Phazers from what I've read are pretty light already. Don't you usually have to change clutching, jetting and other fine components when you change the exhaust? Maybe asking for problems?
It would be fun though to get more than 80hp out of such a light machine
Sounds interesting!

Well, with an EFI sled there are no jets to change, but it would be a good idea to get an EFI tuner to reprogram the computer to feed more fuel to the engine.
With a 4-stroke you dont have to be as spot-on with clutching, but any Phazer can benefit from a clutch kit.
Ive heard a few Phazers with aftermarket exhaust and they sound pretty amazing.
One of the cool things about the Phazer is that it has so much potential. You could put a turbo on it and get 150 hp out of it. Talk about a sleeper!

Yeah the phazer are so cool I'm selling my yamaha 700 for a phazer. What other companies make exhausts for them? And the MCXpress turbo kid runs around $5,000 and it dyno in at 140hp.
MC Xpress Snowmobile Turbo Kit for a Yamaha Phazer
Prince George Yamaha is the main reseller in Canada according to McXpress.
