Boss Noss on an older sled????

Has anyone had any experience with Boss Noss nitros systems. I have a 94 Vmax 600 that on the most part gives me enough power 95% of the time. However that 5% of the time would be nice to have a few extra HP. Mostly for climbing hills.
Has anyone added the Boss Noss to an older motor?
What type of performance did it give or increase?
Was it reliable?
Did you have any negitive effects on the motor with the nitros?

Thanks for your time

I asked this question a while back and the answer i got from most of the guys on here is that nitrous is very hard on the motor and if not setup right can destroy it so say by to your crank. If your goin to run nitrous i would say rebuilt the whole motor crank and all and redo every thing

Problem with nitrous in any motor....It's not meant to take that kind of abuse! Nothing is! Pro hill climbers will run it on all of there sleds but end up rebuilding motors all the time! But they have money to do this. It doesn't matter 4stroke or 2stroke new or old Yamaha Skidoo Polaris or Cat its just not good for anything. If you really want it tho just go with a 10 shot injector so your not putting to much in there...this will give your sled a little more life but sooner or later nitrous will most likely be the cause of a seizure or melt down. Just my .02

nitrous is MURDER on motors. a little too much and the motor melts
even a little beats the snot out of motor components.

I used to do NOS setups on drag cars. I have seen it melt heads
Weld pistons to blocks, melt valves, unless you plan on rebuilding your motor VERY often (like every 2 nitro shots or less )
Don't put it on. Nitro is a very easy way to learn what the term
Grenaded motor means.
