Skis for FX Nytro

What aftermarket skis do you think would be most advantageous on the new 2008 Yamaha FX Nytro (standard)?

I will be riding trails and will also be riding through deep powder. I have done a little research on the Simmons Gen II skis and the Powder Pro skis too.

What do you think would be the advantages of both on and off the trail?

Also, if you can think of other options, please give me some thoughts.

Thanks,
Will

Those Simmons G2 skis are nearly 10" wide! Would want them on a trail sled!

bringing back an older thread....

I just picked up an 09 nytro rtx and oh my gosh the stock setup is horrible (sled itself kicks ass) I do mostly trail riding with the occasional boondock or trail break from the house. I've been looking around and keep hearing of most people putting on simmons or pilots. Originally I believe the pilots were a knockoff of the simmons, so if that's the case I'll spend the extra and get the real thing. I've kind of come down to putting on the flexi-skis with 96 studs. Anyone have any pictures of a nytro with the G2 simmons? I'm envisioning 2 snowboards under a sled but can't find pics to see if they look good or not. Any big difference between those and the standard? I'm not sure how much weight plays into all that either. Most riders are men, so throwing a 120 lb girl on a sled that has it's skis off the ground half the time anyway...having a hard time finding feedback or other comments that may or may not necessarily apply. I've got all summer at this point to decide the best option, so just doing my research. I've always ridden whatever was available, this sled is actually mine haha, so want to get it set for what is going to work for me. Thanks guys!
