Differences in SX,SRX.etc

Ran a search first on here came up with nothing. Wondering about the differecnes and if a 1997 SX 600 twin or an SX 700 triple would be suited well enough for aggressive trail/ditch riding. I am comming off a Ski-Doo Formula III that has been giving me nothing but headaches and is just to bulky for my kind of riding, I narrowed my search to one of these sleds. Both have around 4,000 miles and have good tracks, studed, and the suspensions look to be in good shape as do both of the sleds in general(the 600 is clutched for low end performance). Dealer is asking 1650 for the 600 and 1900 for the 700. Any opinions?

both are 1997s. I do aggressive trail/ditch riding. Test drove them and both seem fine but hoping the suspension can take some hard hits now and then. I don't want to be putting shocks in every year.
