clutch adjustment for high alt.

I have a vmax 500. I ride at high altitude (8000-10000ft). I jetted for the altitude but the owner’s manual says the following.
“To overcome operating with less power at high altitudes your snowmobile may require different clutch and driveline settings to avoid poor performance and rapid wear.” Does anyone know what these clutch adjustments are and how to make them?

You would need lighter weights and maybe even a different hylex? At about 10000 feet you won't get even 1/2 the HP you'd get at sea level or even 1000'!! So if your starting with 70 you'd be lucky to get 30-35hp!! Thats why most Mountain sleds are big bores! Jet down including the Needle and pilot and reduce the drive clutch weights by 2gr or more
