Aftermarket Pipes/Stinger For A Vmax 600

Anyone have any ideas or past experiences piping a 94-96 Vmax 600. Any I should steer away from ? , recommend ?. I'm tempted by the B.S (claimed) horsepower gains but mostly for the weight difference - I'd like to shed some fat off the front end. My buddies at the dealer recalled great headaches with piping these including shimming and meltdown. I want something reliable not some finniky pig that sounds sweet but spends the rest of her days sitting on the trailer. Even a an aftermarket single would do - at least I'd save some weight. Anybody some up with risers and cable extensions for these things without breaking the bank ?. I may just pickup another set of stock bars fully equipped (off Ebay) and just cut, extend and reweld them.

You could try AAen Motor Sports for the pipes or post WTB on totallyamaha and here. The riser would be alot easier to just get some alum stock and drill holes and get longer bolts, put the alum under your clamps, 2" would help alot, or put a set of bars off an old enticer/ exciter. (they rise about 6") but are narrow.
