RX-1 Ski Lift Problem

I recently bought a 2003 RX-1. I had read that there was a ski lift issue when cornering. We had a snow storm here a few weeks ago and I had a chance to try it out and sure enough, it was really lifting in the corners. Some have suggested the 2004 version of the steering stabilizer bars cures the problem. Others have said those upgrades didn't help. One dealer said he has had customers remove/disconnect those stabilizer bars altogether?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the 2005 RX Warrior and it seems to ride just fine. Its just a little longer than the RX 1. The ski lifts a little but if im cornering hard but thats about it. In general i've always found that yammis were tippy i rolled mine on the first day. lol . actually i rolled both yammies ive ever owned the first day i rode em. I think one thing to look for is how long of a carbide also. If its 8 inches rather than a short one ur gunna cut alot more rather than push. your gunna get some lift. I think you just need to get used to your new ride. You'll love it. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the help. Have you heard of guys disconnecting that stabilizer bar or installing the '04 bars? Did it help?

NO ive never heard of any of that. I'd leave it alone. You might want to put some handlebar hooks on it for better cornering. This will let you lean into the turns more to create less skii lift. It helped me. Good luck
