RX-1 Battery

I just bought my first Yamaha. This 2003 RX-1 E/R has a dead battery; so I got a new one, but can someone kindly explain how you install it? I don't want to remove any unnecessary items to install it.

Ya it is the same as my RX Warrior. Tucked WAY under the air box. Take your time and it will be cake. However i would suggest to install a battery tender/charger on it. U can attach wit the cable coming off your side of ur engine. Smart idea for charging and jumping.
