My friend is interested in purchasing a 1980 Yamaha SS 440. The guy is asking for 800$ Canadian. The sled looks like it is in great shape, almost immaculate, the motor looks fairly clean, and it sounds good when it runs. Is this the average price for this sled, or is my friend getting sucked into a bad snowmobile on appearance alone?
