Thank you sir, have looked at a few in the past months, some are toast, others way to much money (2500), alot of miles on some, and the compression way down on PTO side, I try to look at everything I can considering no snow now to ride on, missed out on a couple of nice Phazers even a low miles mountain version with e start, very rare here, just making sure not to get ripped off again, but we take our chances with old sleds, but know that the 480 FC engine in that was good and can be re bored a few times
Phazers were good sleds. Light, pretty snappy for a fanner, and reliable (at least in my experience). I couldn't handle the suspension nowadays though. Watch the running boards. Bends usually mean it's been jumped, rode hard, or both.
good tip on the running boards, as with other sleds and new ones, braces them up, I with you on the suspension, they R what they R, we do have "comfy" Polaris though, thanks
Compression should be about 115#.
I have an Ovation as well as a SRV and I upgraded both suspensions!
Once you put a better rear skid in them they are fairly good ditch bangers!
