i got a 97 phazer ss and the engine just melted. i have access to a 81 srv 540 wich is fan cooled will this swap work?if so will the motor mounts match up? or is it a total fabrication job?

just ride the srv, the 81-83 are 56 hp (84-91 62 hp and a slightly different motor) and have a diferent track than the 84-91, if you really insist on swaping te motor it may be a fab job, the crank on the 81-83 srv is shorter than 84-86(and i imagine most other yamahas0so you would probally have to orientate it to the left some ,
