Anyone seen the new yamahas yet? particularly the phazer...That thing is FUGLY. It looks like half quad half sled.

I wouldn't mind owning it... Stupid Yamaha website doesn't seem to be up right now, but I checked the net and that phazer looks like a nice machine. 80 horses our of a 500cc 4 stroke

I'd like to know how much the thing weighs, but it looks like Yamaha is finally getting their 4 strokes into some smaller packages, which is good.

I like the new Apex RTX. When I bought mine I was in between the RTX and the Nytro. The new RTX looks a lot like the Nytro because of the flames and yellow.

With the Phazer's travel and engine power I would have said its more like a small mxz than a freestyle. Probably not quite up to snowcross, but the freestyle is more like a kid's machine as far as I'm concerned. I'd love to give the mountain version a test drive up here, looks like a sweet machine

Phazer Mountain Lite 489 lbs.

All of those are really heavy for such small sleds.

Looks too robotic/mechanical for me. I like sleek/smooth better. And where's the windshield?

It's not very powerful either. It's only 80hp which wouldn't be bad if the thing weighed in the 300-400lb range like the freestyle. Not sure about other makers' 500cc sleds but the F5 has around 105hp and is lighter than that thing is.

Definately an ugly sled. Although the freestyle isnt the best lookin' thing on the trails either. All their other models look good, it's just that damn phazer!

that phazer is sort of weird looking:O
looks like a quad bumper they put on the front. looks like it has lots of suspension though

eww... that phazer is the ugliest thing ive ever seen! its a quad on skis! and eww no 2 strokes? i hate four stroke seds... yamaha definately isn't the manufactureer for me...

By far the uglyest sled yet. The 1st mach 1 might be better looking then that. Yami doesnt seem to impress most of us. You never see a new one. And the old ones are beaters. Thats always fun though.

When do the other new sleds come out from the other companys?

i wasnt on there very long, but their graphics package didnt look as goos as last year's. the wait is killing me to what AC and skidoo have

how much HP does the freestyle have? and what is its wait? i mean, maybe it was meant to compete and the extra power is to move it. like my 125 four stroke is slower than my KX100.

i like their new stuff. the nytro is really cool.
