I WAS LOOKING FOR FEEDBACK ABOUT 700 VIPERS THE DEALER BY MY HOUSE HAS A 2003 700 THAT NEW BUT WAS NEVER SOLD, I HAD A 1997 SX 700 I LIKED THE POWER BUT IT SEEMED TO DART AROUND ALOT AND WAS NEVER STABLE UNLESS YOU WERE ON THE GAS, IS THIS COMMON ON THE VIPERS ALSO? THE 700 THE DEALER HAS ELECTRIC START REVERSE AND 1 MILE ON IT, WHATS A GOOD PRICE?

The Viper handles really good and get great fuel mileage. The suspension is pretty much the same as the SXR. I dont experience darting on my Viper and darting could be from toe out on your skis. Not sure on a price cause I live in Canada. The only downside is the powervalves because they do take some maintenance when it comes to cleaning them and adjusting but it's fairly simple. Although power valves = more horsepower.
For power there wont be a whole lot of difference between 700 SXR and Viper 700

I have an 03 viper without start and reverse. I paid 6200 for it in 09/04. I love it, rides great. Keeps up with my uncle on his SRX. Great suspension and power. Tons of mods you can do if you want to get a little more power. Mine is pretty stock except for a can and some cosmetics. What are they asking for it?

There's an easy fix to the darting on the Yammi's.My father has a 2000 700 Venture and it darted from day one.I did a bit of digging on the net and came up with a cheap but effective solution. You need to put a wedge between the bottom of the spindle and the base of the ski.He used some rubber mat about 1/8" and doubled it up and screwed it to the rubber mount in the ski. Works great.

Remember, with the dealer, start low on your price. You can go up, but not down.
