96 V-Max fuel issues

Hey all,
I have buddy that has what I think are 96ish 500 and 600 V-Max. Anyway they have been in storage for a couple of years and when we tried to get them started nothing happend. There is spark so the only thing I can think of is its a fuel issue. I wasn't able to locate the fuel shut off valve, do these sleds have those? If not does anyone know what else might be the problem?
Thank you,
Andy Miller

Take the fuel lines off the carb and pull it over, fuel should pulse out of the lines. If not, the fuel pump has an issue or there is a blockage in the tank. If fuel comes out, the carbs probably need to be cleaned.

Clean the carbs and jets. Did this to mine, and solved the problem.

Also make sure there is not a mouse nest in the airbox.

Speaking of mice, I had a mouse nest in one of my pipes over storage last winter, and it was like the one cylinder was not firing. Finally after pulling on the rope for half and it went BANG and blew out and started. If all this other good info does not fix it, there might be a mouse in your muffler.
