my buddy's dad is selling a 90 phazer, red and black, very clean body/motor. track may need replacement and skis may also. but he wants $400. i still have $1500 to pay off on my formula, and i have to do interior, paint, and bodywork yet on my car. im 16 so im pretty short on cash...do you think i should buy this sled, or pay off my first one and finish the car?

i had an 86 phazer as my first sled, and i loved it, which is the only reason i am looking at it. they go for $700+ at haydays, so i think its a good deal, even if i have to put money into it for a track. i also want a spare sled so my buddys can come up from WI and my cousin can come up and ride.

what u guys think?

Go for it you can always store it till you get the extra money, also you know the owner and how he took care of it. good luck

well actually, he just picked up 2 sleds and a trailer a week ago on some trade in, he owns a used car dealership and i think that was part of a deal or something. but yeah, i could probably have him hold it, or make 4 $100 payments or somethin...i just love phazers for some reason, lol

just talked to the guy. he said $400 but we can work something out. what should i offer him? i dont want to lowball him, but i want it as cheap as possible, 1500 left to pay on the Formula

I just bought a 90 phazer for 700. If I asked they guy for 400$, he'd probably would have pulled out a gun and shoot me in the face. 375$ is a awsome deal.

yeah i know its a great deal. grant, his son and my friends brother, said i could have both the phazer and a 90 skidoo formula MX 700 for the $400. ill have to talk to him, he pretty much gives away anything that he doenst need. his dad is a very reasonable guy, too. if i can get both sleds for $400, ill jump on it. both run, and both have worn tracks. otherwise, i want to offer a reasonable drop from 400, 300 you think?

im buying seats for my bug, thats about $450, and i will have about $100 left over for a down payment, then, most of my check goes to pay for my other sled. so, maybe i can give him payments of $50-75?
