Check out all the electrical components, especially the kill switch and the wires to it. It may be something simple like a frayed wire.

Does it start?, because I have an SRX and sometimes when I am riding it, it just shuts off. Does this happen to you?

No it will not start the headlight isnt trying to come either when you pullit over. On your problem I think there is a safety switch if your sled is getting to warm it will shut it down.

Light doesn't come on either? Unplug the kill/key/tether switches and see if that helps

Might not be the answer, but on our machine, the ignition coil came loose with the spark plug boot, and wouldn't start.
