they chnged the name and looks because of the RX1 being so heavy and whatnot, that they would not get the credibility back, so new name="wow new sled im gonna get it" 2006 RX1 would="thee too heavy ill get a ________"

They don't weigh that much, they at least feel somewhat light, they are not a REV I know, but for what they are, they're not too bad. The RX1 is done though, but on the APEX book they still call it a RX1,can't give up the name I guess?

Thumbs up RX-1 evolution

Yes, the RX-1 is no more. It has been replaced by the Apex series (Apex GT, Apex ER, Apex Mountain). The '06 Apex GT has been named Sno-Goer's "Sled of the Year" and all have the 150 hp 4 cylinder 4 stroke based on the motor that made the RX-1 Superbike famous. The machine has been lightened significantly this year, and the Mountain offers an all new 162" x 16" x 2 1/4" Ripsaw track. The aftermarket already offers nitrous, turbo, and supercharger kits that can bring the output of the Genesis 150 up to as much as 340 hp! for more info go to www.yahama-motor.com. I still have one of the '05 RX-1 Mountains for sale at my shop. Throw cash if you are interested. Otherwise, I'm taking it home.
