I'm a sledder, however, sledless in WA. Looking for a M-Cat at the moment. Went to the Puyallup Fair Grounds this past weekend to check things out. So when i do get a sled, I too will need a riding partner.

the snojammers are a sled club based out of Puyallup. - they had a booth at the snow show. you should think about joining. when i get a sled i probably will.

http://www.snojammers.org/

ive talked to several of the members, and they have all types of riders riding every weekend. the one thing i was afraid of was joining a club with "slow" & "old" members. the dude said, thats not the case as they have long track. & even short track riders - guys with modded sleds & normal sleds.

thats awesome considering i am already in that club i have been going to the meeting for a while now and i did plan on going riding with them its just out of all the people i met they were either old or near 15 years old and there wasn't really anyone in there 20s but i haven't been out with them on a ride yet to see if there is any aggressive off trail riders like my self

This is a WSSA safety update, Mick Steinman, WSSA safety guru, asked me to forward this information to all the clubs to let them know about some upcoming events. Most importantly is a 'Train the Trainer' course on October 26th.

This class is to certify instructors to teach the Youth Snowmobile Safety class for youngsters between the age of 12 and 16. This class will be held on October 26th in Moses Lake at the Fire Department meeting room, 701 E. 3rd St. The class will run from 9am to 4pm and attendees need to pre-register by contacting Cathie Barnes at WA State Parks at cathie.barnes@parks.wa.gov or 360-902-8661.

Mick is hoping each club will send at least one person for this certification so we can better train the kids around the state. (This course is also open to those who have previously been certified, but would feel more comfortable being re-certified.)

Please check out the attached WSSA Safety Schedule and if you have any questions about anything safety related, don't hesitate to contact Mick at mick.steinman@wssa.us.

Hey I'm just south in Roy, plan on riding every sunday ( I get sunday-monday off ) and maybe monday here or there is I find some one to ride with.

I got an 2005 M5 that I'm working through some issues on. I'm pretty new to the sport and have only been out a couple times.

Only place I know to ride is in the Packwood/Randle area so if there is something closer that might be cool but I'm from that area and my family lives down there so it makes it easy for me to make the drive
