Question Alaska Riding Conditions

Well it's now November 1st and I'm ready to ride. Can't wait to get some time out riding my new Yamaha FX Nytro. We are hoping to get out this coming Sunday for a while.

Does anyone have any new/recent updates they can give on riding conditions ANYWHERE in Alaska?

I'm from Anchorage, but I ride many places between Fairbanks and the Kenai Penninsula.

Thanks for the info,
Will

Thumbs up

I've been riding for a couple of weeks Near Eielson AFB(21mi southeast of Fairbanks), 6"-10" in open areas, more in the woods, packed trails are great for my sleds and I haven't hit any dirt/gravel lately. The pipeline is clear and great, just be sure to stop at a pumpstation or a alyeska office and show them your drivers licence before you ride on the pipeline road but I'd say thats the best riding around right now.

Will i am interested to know where excatly you ride between Anchorage and Kenai? Have you ridden at lower summit lake(the one with two cabins it)? The west side has always been closed to motorized use(hasn't stoped us) but just reciently they've been trying to close the whole area. If you want to give us a hand on keeping this place open please PM me and i will send you more information.
