Sure Felt Like Winter Today ! ! !

It sure felt like winter here today, East of the mountains in central Alberta.
It was cold(er) today, the water puddles froze last night and didn't even thaw by the end of the day. Unlike the mizerable weather we have been getting lately, you know, that above 0 degrese celcius garbage, not even a slight chance of snow, weather. I am sick of it!, almost November and still waiting.
Big white clouds to the west today, towards the mountains, with brisk winds, blowing something over, maybe, I hope.
It must have snowed somewhere neer here.
Can anyone confirm my hopes & dreams of the fresh stuff ?
I should really stop getting my hopes up like this.

So, . . . . can anyone confirm?
Later.

I had to scrape my windshield this morning for the first time!
It's been snowing on and off at Big White and Silver Star ski Resorts. 6" to 8" up there.
It's coming close

Awesome ! ! ! Ya it is -7 degese C here in Edson AB. this morning. Now all we need here is precipitation.
How far are Big White and Silver Star ski Resots from Jasper?
I also was told there is a couple feet at McBride B.C.
Thanks for the reply.
Later.

I think Big White and Silver Star would be about 300 miles plus from Jasper. If you know where Kelowna is, both hills are about 40 miles out of Kelowna.
