Looking at the webcam people are up to the Louis lake turn off. I'm fighting a clutch but I might shoot for tomorrow up there.

I havent looked at any of the cams today but I heard in the south east corner they are supposed to get a couple feet of snow from this storm so that could mean several feet in the mountains.

Well I need a bushing for my Mach secondary. But it is runnable. I'm waiting for a Comet clutch puller anyway. I just need to move it to get my Summit off of the trailer and align the clutches on it after a rebuild. I'm looking good for tomorrow.

Dang we ended up getting about 2 feet of snow in the past two days on the mountain. And its still snowing today. I got quite a workout yesterday digging myself out about dozen times but had a blast. If you look at my avatar, that would be me about to be stuck.

Ah heck we just keep getting snow. Im going to have to go home and put my sled back together tonight. We have got over 24" of snow on the mountain the past 48 hours. I was tearing my sled down to put a new track and other stuff on it this summer. Figured I was done riding for the year but it looks like I get another chance. Hey Goffer how did this storm far for you guys in Powell?

Anchorage, Alaska here. Do a majority of my riding down in Caribou Hills but plan on hitting up Willow a few times along with Hatchers, Eureka, Sheep Creek, Petersville and Turnagain. Never been to Bird Creek but would like to to check that out along with Eklutna and Powerline Pass (Can you still ride there?) Actually, any information or trail maps regaring these spots would be cool We got about an inch or two of snow on Sunday and since then about a total of 3 - 4 inches. Its all going to melt but I hope this is a good year for us for snow. Last year was lame, but the winter did drag on!
Actually, if anyone has any trails in GPS files for these areas and any information, such as best place to park and what not would be much appreciated. At $4.61/gallon for Diesel I would like to stay closer to home more often this year.

Valemount, British Columbia
- Allan Creek
- Clemina Creek (with the new Keyhole trail open for this season)
- Chapple Creek
- Trudeau bowls (Westridge)
- Dixon Glacier
- Mica Mountain
360 degrees of awe-inspiring riding... over 1.5m in the mountains, but just heavy frost in the valley.
Check out Valemount and Area Recreation Development Association (non-profit society) for updated conditions throughout the year.

They are all within five to 39km. We've had to truck/trailer up Westridge for a few km. to reach snow, but the REALLY nice conditions come of course when there is 'staying' snow (December) in the valley and in the parking lots at the trail heads. But, the mountains are covered. Maps and more info at VARDA website and I will post updates from a visual standpoint.
