Smile PWC winterization

What needs to be done to a 2-stroke PWC for winterization? I have Direct Injection, so I figure all I really need to do is poor some gas stabilizer in and start it for a bit to get the stabilizer run through, and the water out. Should I be putting some oil in the cylinders or anything like that? Any 'drivetrain' (impeller) issues to be aware of ?

Any help is appreciated

Oil in the cylinders would help with condensation freezing up. Make sure you have all the water out of the impeller area so it doesn't freeze and expand and crack. How about fogging the carb?

How do I go about getting water out of the impeller area? It's been sitting on about a 30* incline for the past couple weeks, and I still need to run it to get the gas stabilizer through the lines. I figured that would do it?

Direct Injection = No carbs.

If it's anything like a lower unit on a boat, there should be a drain plug you could take out to drain any excess water. Do you have a manual?

It should be fine, GFJ. Putting it on an incline and running it for a minute while it gets the stabilizer to it will empty the impeller/water pump.

I had a neighbor that had 2 of them, and I remember him saying that he had to make sure he got all the water drained out before winter storage. What SEG said is prolly what he did.

I helped my Up North neighbor winterize his & he also disconnected the inlet hose & ran "Red Pop" (RV antifreeze) through the system. Didn't take a whole lot, either!!
