Any wakeboarders?

This year I'm looking to get into wakeboarding, but don't know what to buy as far as boards go? I want something thats not really tricky to get up on, but also something that I can do basic tricks on. I'm about 6'3" and 210lbs if that makes a difference. Cost inn't really a huge issue, but if its the kinda thing were I'll have to buy a board for the first year, and then buy one to be able to get to my full potential I'd rather not spend a bundle.

I would go with Mouse's advise if he has some, which I think he does. He wake boards on some of those fat toothless women up in Alanson, which he swears some of them float. How he keeps them above the water line is beyond me, but Mouse is known to pull a rabbit out of his snowmobile helmet every now and then.

imo, id get an Obrien. i like all of their watersport products. im a big water skiier... solomn (one ski), and ive got a pair of obrien double boot. really a nice pair of skis. cant go wrong.

the one thing i would consider is rope leingth. the longer the rope the farther back on the wake you will be, and the shorter the rope you wont get enough arc when your out.

when i ski i use about a 60 to 65' rope. then i knee board, i use a 55 to 60' rope. it all depends on the conditions and how the wake is behind your boat.
