Patching a Raft

Err, I loaded up my 16ft rubber raft on the trailer, and hauled it accross town because I wanted to sell it. When I get home, to unload the trailer and get it ready to sell, the thing was completly deflated on the trailer, I was stunned and sad. I realized that the boat had been rubbing against the tire on the trailer, and burned a hole through it about the size of the tire where it met the boat. The thing about this patch, is its not any old part of the rubber raft, its right on the firggen stitch line, so its looks hard to patch, have any of you ever experienced this, is there anything I can do, I mean I was looking to sell this thing for $1,000, now its worth nothing, even if the patch works out, nows maybe $700.

Goto your local ship store at the marina, and ask what would work best. They ought to know. Good luck
