hey 'rida...how come both of your sharks are brown and white? i didnt know if that was their natural colors or just something you pulled out of a hat...

Funny you should ask that. I asked the same question. What I found out was, that when these fish are out of the water for some period of time, something with the oxygen changes the color of there skin. In the water they are a grayish color. I would have wanted them the grayish color, but when I recieved the mounts, there was not much I could do. Next time if I do this this,I will make sure they are the color I want. Just lessons learned.

arent those replicas, and not the "real" mount? or atleast thats what i thought...cuz, imo there isnt as much detail in the paint for the mouth/teeth ect.

oh, i gottcha...yeah, i couldnt really tell from the photo.

how long did you have to wait to get the mount back? when i had my bass mounted, i cought it in August and the taxidermist (buckys taxidermy in dexter) was still behind in his buck mounts from the season before...so i had t wait like 10 mos before i saw my fish again.
