Boats?
What kind of boats does everyone have? Our family owns a 2000 Ski Nautique Open Bow. 351 GT-40 with 310hp. Not sure on torque, but it'll pull your arms off. It's a blast to ski behind.

Got a 14' Lund with a 15 horse. A 16' with a 50 horse. Pontoon with a 25 horse merc. One that needs restoring is our 69 Glastron Carlson Challenger, 115 horse merc. and the steering wheel is on left side, modeled after the racing boats.

I have a 2001 Smokercraft Millentia 17 foot dual console fishing boat with a 2003 75 hp Mercury outboard. Awesome big water fishing machine.
And I also have a 1985 14' Smokercraft semi-vee with either my choice of a vintage 1965 Johnson 9.5 hp twin, or a 1964 Johnson 20 hp for motive power.
I've had my big Millentia for over 2 1/2 years now, but that 14' used to be my primary fishing boat. It's a veteran of many fishing vacations to Ontario Canada, and even to Quebec once.

My boat is so old I don't even know who it's made by. It's about 8', fiberglass and got a mid 80's 4 horse merc on the back. Works well for the small lake I'm on. She boots.

One thing my family doesn't have is something small to fish with. I really wish we'd get a 12-14' aluminum with like a 20hp on it. Oh well.

My neighbours have a 12 foot tin boat with a 20hp on it. They also have a Grew like mine. The tin boat gets used about once a year. The Grew is used for everything - fishing included.

we have a 14' fiberglass tri-hull that is either a '56 or a '70 something, don't really remember. its blue, has a yammi 30hp longshaft on it and a "custom built" rear subframe to make the ls motor work. its great for rivers and small lakes but anything with over 1' waves and you have to go real slow.
she rips.

dads got a '96 four winns, 19' open bow with a 5.0. boat hauls on open flat water. can get er up to about 48-ish with her trimmed just right. pretty much stays on inland lakes, but we've had it out on lake michigan, lake huron, lake erie, and the detroit river.

I had a 15.5 trihull with a 115hp evinrude on it. A tree fell on the thing and put a hole in the hull so I bought a 1979 16ft glasstron (James Bond looking boat). I got it on ebay for $700 gutted the interior put new carpet in for a cost of $100 put the seats from my other boat in (2 years old) and my motor on. The thing is real fast, it is only approved for a 75hp motor.

Our Nautique is in the Barn right now for winter, but when it gets in the water, I'll post up some pics of it. (I might be waterskiing behind it too.) Hey IRS, where do you guys usually boat at?
