Ya. It scoots along pretty good. I can load it up with 6 or 7 people and still pull 2 skiers no problem.

I have a Cobalt 220 with a 496 Mercruiser in it. I've had it up to 62 with 6 ppl on the boat and a half tank of gas. I absolutely love it. If anyone is up in the TC area in the summer, anyone who wants to crusie and hang out on the Torch Lake sand bar and have a cpl 'pops' lemme know! My PWC's are a blast too.

How many ski shows are using Hydrostreams or 4Wins?
Hydrodyne "The Dyne 18" or "Skier" are great boats being built from the late '60s through the '70s. The 17.6 are being built today by Dyna-ski in Wisconsin. These boats are more for the traditional 3 event skiing with a medium sized wake at 15 to 20mph, over 30mph the wake almost disappears. Check out Hydrodyners.com - The Place for Classic Hydrodyne boats and Show Skiers site to see some of these boats rigged with twins or the 20's with trip's.

Anything over 60mph and the dyne could and will walk out. Your father's boat looks great. I like the open bow. Is the Vista anything like the Voyager with the air intrapment hull

Nope, the vista is the exact same bottom as the v king, just with a different deck. The voyageur is also 2 feet longer.

I got a 16' 1986 alumacraft fishing boat. Nothing real fancy by todays standards but its got a live well and stuff. It gets the job done. My dad has a 1958 aluminum 23' Lonestar Cruiseline with a 125horse merc outboard.
