Burt Lake is right at the end of my street in Indian River. We put in there, then we can go anywhere along the Inland Water Route (Mullett Lake, Crooked Lake, etc, even out to Lake Huron).

The verado is nice. So are teh e-tecs. But alot about those e-tecs is just false. I personally have drove one (a friends) I liked the verado way better from looks to power. They get decent mileage too. And really quiet and powerful.

I should do an engine swap into the Nautique. 57,000 hp for 21 feet of boat. She'd rip.

LOL good call. The nautique is going in next weekend.
Boat looks exactly like this only we don't have a Bimini Top. This one is also only a 5.0, while ours is a 5.8 GT-40.

well our boat is an old one but a great one. it is a 1993 fourwins fishnski.we bought it with 40 hours on it laast year from an old guy. it is old but we had a 2003 tahoe befor crap compared to this in every factor. when we bought it we got ride of all the old motor oil tanks sterio fish finder added 3 new ones and a gps. plus a killer sound system. then we bought a 2005 suzuki 140 fourstroke. only made the bought do 47 mph so we bought a 2006 150 yammi fourstroke in the midle of last summer. now it does 53mph but were gonna get a 175 fourstroke suzuki this summer newer and better every year. the boat is the best riding boat iv ever been in my dad has had usally 3 boats a year since i was born and now iam 14 so i ahve been in alot of boats usally new ones. this is still the best one. this is the only boat he will kept for over a year now.

Because it is a ford powerplant? BTW, it's supposedly pushing 310hp from the factory, which seems like a lot, but with a boat that weighs as much as ours, it will only do like 44mph. It's not really geared for speed though, but it will rip your arms off if you're getting lazy back there.
LOL, for some reason I can't quote people correctly, any suggestions?

That is an awsome looking little boat.
my Dad has a 79 J-craft 19' with a 79 200 merc V6. pic in my avatar
We just finished totaly taking the motor apart cheching everything over, putting in new gaskets, and replacing the stator and trigors and rebuilding the water pump, she runs awsome now. before it would die everytime you put it in gear and half the time you would have to do a controled neutral drop just to get going but that isnt the best thing if not done perfectly. skiing was a "you better be ready to go when the rope is tight because were going anyways", there was no stoping or else it would stall and it was just wasnt near as much fun getting readt to go, then move a foot and stall.

J crafts are awesome for skiing with Throw on a nose cone with lower water pickups and a jackplate and pick up some speed if you haven't already done so

Hell yea just got a new boat. a 2006 Crownline 225 LPX. Its red with checkered flag decals, a low profile black windshield, a 350 MAG motor w/captians call and a killer sound system and all that came with it! we just traded in our 1999 Larson 202 LXi for it. its a great boat.
