skis & front susp.

I know this is a stupid question, my sled has the really old ugly leaf spring suspension, i was wondering if it was possible to put some kind of newer suspension and plastic skis on it?(i'm gonna be riding with people who have really nice new sleds and im trying to make mine look a little bit nicer lol)

does it have the shocks also? Have you tried useing ski spreaders for a wider stance to make it more stable and turn better?
as for skis, your best bet is to add plastic skins (cheaper and easier to install on an older sled) .
