Carb assembly Arctic Cat El tigre 530cc

I am learning to work on my sled myself with an old smei good shape 89 el tigre. I cleaned the carbs and now need to re-assemble them. I concerned about getting the tiny snap ring bac in the proper place. let me know if ther eis literature I can use or if its just simply snapped back in place. Also, the gas and oil and water lines look old, those should probaly replaced for a tighter fit? Thanks a lot, I appreciate any response.

Assume you're talking about the tiny snap ring that retains the main jet needle in the slide. There are 3 grooves in the top of the needle, stock position is the middle groove; top groove (lowering the needle) is leaner; bottom groove (raising the needle) is richer.

If you have any doubt about the hoses/lines, just replace them. If not, you can bet they will fail at the most inopportune time.

Good luck!
