Nothing beats a 12hp elan in powder.
Except a 1991 Tundra LT, of course.

Old school elans are definately the best and most reliable sleds, they glide over deep powder, carv nicely in turn when you lean hard and water skip pretty dam good to.

I like my old school sleds I have 2 Elans

Just got my first sled from the neighbor. Tired of walking while ice feeshing. 1980 Scorpion Whip 440. Decent shape. 1300 miles. Not exactly babied, but ok.

Looking forward to some snow!

First sled

My first sled, my fathers, was a 1968 Rupp 300. It had a 300cc Sach single. Great sled in its day. Then we got a new 399 Panther with a Kawi engine. That thing would keep up with a 669 TNT.

Now in powder I ride my '87 503 Ski-Doo Skandic. It will go anywhere the newer sleds will go in powder, doubled up, just not as fast.
