1st Sled


I just wanted to share a picture of my 1st sled. 1979 Polaris TX 440. It is in exelent condition. Can anyone tell me about my new ride?

I think he means compared to newer sleds, you may just leave your spine on a bumpy trail somewhere! Seems like a nice machine, though!

Is your sig 3rd Marine Air Wing??

looks to be in excellent shape. It will ride ok, but not as nice as a newer sled because of the only 9 inches of vertical travel in the rear. A mod that I recomend would be to get a pair of ski spreader plates and install them right away. This will make the stance of the skis wider and therefore more stable in the turns and help with cornering.
