$6000 is not that far off for that particular sled.
the old srx's are getting harder to find these days, especialy in good shape. a quality '76 or '77 srx will fetch $5000 these days, no problem. a stock '77 440 srx put out 96 hp and weighed only 320 lbs. you just dont see sleds like this anymore. this particular sled is a full mod that is probly puting out over 100 hp. the '76 and '77 srx's were frieghtening fast sleds. in a 660 foot drag race, a '77 440 srx will beat the majority of todays 600 cc multi piped sleds, easily. this one will realisticly fetch about $5000, not $6000.
i know the guy who ownes that particular sled, he has a '78 SSR snopro motor in that '77 srx. it is worth it when you include the parts he's throwing in if you use "buy it now".
the old srx's are worth alot more money than todays sleds that are only a few years old.
