SNOW!!! And the Everest 500 :)

Well, we finally have some snow (and more to come)!
There is a great winter storm hitting us here in central Indiana.
I took the Everest out about an hour ago when the snow on the road was about 3" deep. At speed she runs great! However, with her weight, trying to turn from a dead stop, she just plows straight forward

Were upto almost 6" now, so I'll be taking her out for another spin in a bit and let you know how she does! Pics to follow (once Im done having some fun in the white stuff)!! Gotta enjoy it while it lasts...

Well, 6-7" of snow is definitely better!

I still have to hike the rear end over at hard turns where the wind has blown the snow down to 4" or so, but man does this thing MOVE! We are supposed to have another 4 hours of snow before it gets to 9-12" so I may have to wait to take it out for a night drive to see how it runs in that deep of powder.

The under-steer only happens on the road though. I took it for a 10-12 mile trail ride and never had a problem steering from a stop, so it may just be the ice underneath? Any input?

Here's a couple pics on the way back:

Under steer always happens on the road. UN less you have some real hard front ski pressure and lots of carbides!

Lucky you both snow stomrs missed us last one went north this one went south

Granted...
Though, on average (depending on where you are in that communist state) you usually get more snow than we do!! I have been txting a buddy of mine up in Rockford, and he wishes he was here to go sledding. Dont worry, this snow will only be here for 2 weeks, then I'll be looking at wet grass again

Its certainly never a WOT trail run, but here's a couple pics from my favorite trail. Thankfully I have about 10 acres I can romp around on, you just have to be ready on the brake to avoid trees!! Since the heavy stuff fell, I'm upto 31 miles today! Run down the hill, hit the county road, play down by the river, then come back up. Looks like I'm getting around 10-11 MPG, but will have to drain the tank tonight to find out for sure!

Both of the previous pics are off the side of the trail, though, if you look closely in the second pic, you can see my snowed over tracks from my previous trip up the hill an hour earlier....
Let is snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!
