1981 Arctic Cat El Tigre 5000FA(NO SPARK)

So ive been through multiple threads on here with no results. Tested magneto got 89 ohms out of the +/- 10% of the 88.5 ohms shown on the electrical specs. Pretty sure the lighting coil must be working because headlight lights up when tring to start. Not sure how to test primary ignition or secondary ignition or if im doing it right. Tried posting a new thread once before, so this one is not as in depth as the last as im just a little frustragted at the moment. Pretty much have no flipping idea what going on PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you tried unplugging the 4 wire plug and seeing if you get spark?

Going to need to jumper the black and brown wires at engine if you do this. 81 uses a normally closed ignition system.

Yea, I unplugged 4 wire plug and jumped the brown and black wires from magneto and had nothing. This has been an on going problem for the last 8 years(which most of the time just sat, although I did have it running last year after replacing one of the cylinders and installing new ignition coil!!) The strange thing is before when it still had spark it was on and off. I would disconnect the three wire plug and hold it close to one another and have someone pull to get an arc, after that it was good until I turned off???? Needs more work but I dont want to do anything else until I get this spark issue nipped in the butt. Any and all information on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. P.S. - If it wernt for my dad buying this sled brand new and giving it to me a few years ago it would be stripped and sold for parts by now but it has some sentimental value.....

Do you have another CDI unit that you can try on it?
