This must have been done by someone but I can't find any information. I want to replace my stock Butterfly type carb from my Et 340 for a flat slide Mikuni it came off a mxz440x. I only plan on using one this season but I would like to know which jets (only close) and part numbers I would be running I will also need needle jets, jet needles, pilots, power jets, the whole nine yards. I realize that I am asking a lot but any input is invaluable, also I recognize I will have to do plug checks and re-jet.

Okay I picked up a 330 300 and 270 main the pilot is a 25 and ordered a trail needle. I will need to route a primer plunger in also. What fuel pump should I use?

The rectangle one should have enough capacity for a single of that size.

RJ or anyone can you make a suggestion about how to make a throttle cable work..

You will need one with a split in it for the oil pump.
One for the MXZ should work.

I am running premix tho. The cable that came with the carbs is way too short I have been using a honda thumb throttle and a Ovation carb up till now. I would keep using the cable if it would fit the slide but it won't... Ideas?

Measure the length needed and add at least 2".
You should be able to find one the right length.

I started at a 330 went to a 300 and then a 270 have it running ok at one needle clip up (down) from centre but @ 8C I can't dial it in. Also had the primer plumbed in and the throttle cable made thanks to Dave at Titan cycle. Pilot is a 25 also
