You basically need three things to run. Fuel, spark and compression. Next it comes down to proper air/fuel ratio and proper timing. It's kind of difficult to diagnose without a little more information. Was the sled warmed up already when you went to look at it?

Flood the crankcase on the trip home? If so, there should be a couple small bolts under the Y-pipe that you can remove to drain the fuel/oil out.

That Might be it because you can see where oil and fuel ran out around where the exhaust comes together.

It's caused by wornout or poorly adjusted float needle

Flooded the engine on the ride home.
Pull the plugs and crank it over a bunch until no more mist comes out.

The Kawi engine does not have drain plugs, only Poo engines do.

The fuel/oil mixture circulates through the engine crankcase for lubrication.

There is no oil in the base except that which is mixed with the gas.
Draining the engine requires pulling the plugs and cranking a lot and then leaving it open till the remaining fuel evaporates.

Also did you use new plugs, wet fouled ones will not always fire until dry.

Priming makes starting easier when there is no fuel in the bowls.

Start on full choke, then immediately switch to half choke once it's running, or if you have pulled it over several times with no luck. Completely release the choke after it has run for a minute or so.

Many old sleds have different starting techniques that will be more successfull than others.

Dry the plugs off and get as much gas out of the cylinders as possible and hit it with some starting fluid and try to start it just to see if it will give it the extra little pop.
