If it is flooding thar easily, there is another problem.
Is it just one cylinder that is flooding, or is it both.
If just one, I'l bet that you are getting extra duel through the pulse line.
Is so, you will need to rebuild the fuel pump.

That's what I was thinking if it was possible for it to pull to much gas to flood the cylinders. Them old sleds are finnikie as Hell.

That's not the point!
Since it flooded when transported, you need to find out why and resolve the issue or it will not run again.

We have given you suggestions to test and solutions to the problem.
If you can not comprehend the answers, the just take ot to a shop and pay them to fix it.

When you brought the sled home did you unhook the trailer and leave the sled at a tilt on the trailer

My ZR is faster then your ZR

Those sleds are not designed to be at a extreme angle for any length of time. Ive put my race sled on a track stand to warm up my race sled. I turned it off watched a race came back after 20 (due to a crash) and it was flooded out that fast. We found out that the bowls can drain into the motor

My ZR is faster then your ZR

kawie

Check the fire of the plugs for a consistent blue spark when they are out of the cylinders. Then i would check the compression on both cylinders with the plugs out and a compression tester installed.Make sure to hold the throttle wide open when testing each cylinder, there should be at least 120 psi in each cylinder to ignite in the cylinder. If not the upper top end of engine is in need of repair. Also check the engine stop switch ,it may just be in the off position or a bad ignition switch.Had that happen on my 77 kawie sst440.Hope this can help you ,good luck.

i agree, its risky, so do it in small amounts, but even disconect your gas lines and mist some starter fluid into the carb and see if it "draws" in well and the motor fires. if it does your carb needs work as you are getting too much fuel and flooding right away when the gas lines are connected. if it doesnt "draw" all the vapor in well, you have compresion problems or a plugged exaughst system
