Hello I have a what I think is a 1989 yamaha srv according to the registration I found. The number on the right hand side of the tunnel is 86U-001353. Some of the pictures I have seen of the 89's match the red and silver like mine is but some other pictures that claim they are 89's dont match. I was told buy the number on the tunnel begining with 86 is an 1986. Any help would be great!
While on this subject what years did they build the srv's and are the parts through the years interchangable? These sleds were being built why I was in high school but I am not sure what years they started and ended. I'ts not a bad sled and in decent shape. I picked it up for $100.00 and thought it would be a fun project
