Looks like you still need to remove a shim in the secondary to get the belt up more to the outer edge of the sheaves.

Thanks
Thanks RJ, the photos are actually 2 days old and since then I did move the secondary another 3/4" in like you had mentioned quite a long time ago. I'm off to fab a belt cover today and bleed the brakes, perhaps Ill take it for its maiden voyage today. I'll update with more media soon.

That's a very cool project. For sure put a cover over that belt an the clutch too. Something kinda heavy/strong those clutches can blow apart. My uncle had a similar setup on a go cart the clutch came apart an cut his shoulder bad.

1/8" plate cover made today.

Thanks for mentioning, I however knew that I wouldn't get on that thing without one! I took it for it's 1st voyage today. I got it up to about 50mph and it really needs to have the carb tuned now.
Those forks are from a 99 Honda CR125 dirtbike.

How does she handle with that crazy rake?
I love the look of the bike. It'd be real neat to keep it that bare metal color after paint I think. Especially if you could get the forks that bronzed look. Gives it a real old school custom look.

Belt cover looks good.
I do recommend that you add more to it to cover from the sides better.

It handles just like any 40 degree rake bike:a little floppy. I need to modify/increase the fork stops. Once it is rolling it feels okay.
You think clear for this thing?
