just an update on my project sled a 1979 blizzard 9500+ Got a good body off a member on here. Bad engine. Transferred over the engine from my 82 Blizzard 9500+ I took the best from both sleds Rewove the wiring loom and took the nippon denso ignition from the 82. discarded the oil injection (I don't trust it)
and yesterday i got the chance to do an engine test (just stuck the pipes on without the can) Gave the fuel system a full breakdown and cleaning both carbs and the pump. 5 pulls and she crackled to life
it's LOUD with just the pipes on
now to get the suspension back under it.
2 things i hope i can find #1 a decent track (the one i got is ok but not the greatest) #2 a decent seat for it
