340 enticer fuel issues

I have a 78 enticer 340 and I cant get it to stay running. It wont start without a shot of starting fluid, wont idle, and constantly bogs. I have gone through the carburetor and the jets are clear, the needle is seating, the float is not bent. It doesnt have the original air box on it but it does have an air filter on it. The choke is clean and isnt sticking, the cylinders have 100-110lbs in each of them, it has good spark. The fuel lines are clear and the filters are not clogged. I am stuck. Is it possible the fuel pump could be mounted wrong or is hooked up wrong? It has the mikuni round feul pump. Suggestions please!

maybe the fuel pump isnt pumping good. it happened with a couple of my sleds. all i did was tear the pump all apart and clean it all and put it back together and it ran fine. just remember to keep the diaphragms in the right order when you put it back together
