Yellow wires are for lights, the other two are the coil and kill.
Brown wire is ground.

Well, you can use the yellows run through a regulator to charge the battery if needed,

in place of the generator? thatd be a little simpler it sounds like all i would need is a voltage reg. correct? im pretty sure ill be able to easily put a pulley on this it has a small belt running to like a cooling fan i was just going to attach a pulley there and run it to my starter so itll still start with the key..if i run into trouble with room or mounting the pulley the yellow wires will put out 12v through regulator?

Do you mean add another pulley to run the starter/generator?
I think that you will find that it takes a lot of hp from the engine to run it.
If the engine has the the mounting hole and the flywheel has the ring gear on it, adding a starter will be fairly simple.
Otherwise, just use the pull start or have a way to disengage the unit after the engine is running. The lighting coils put out enough power to run some lights and charge a battery as well.
