skidoo blizzard problem

I have a 81 type 454 440 rotax motor the thing runs strong then doesnt rev sometimes i cant start even when it has good spark.I put oil down the cylinders after pulling it for a while then it started but didnt rev or run right.After sitting for a few months i go out the thing starts right up runs great stopped and started several times no problem seems to have decent compression any ideas?

Thumbs up ski-doo blizzard problem

hi when you started the sled ,did it idle alright or seem a little high and if so that is a sign that the crankshaft seals may be leaking.Spray some quick start or even brake cleaner around the crankcase and the seal on the clutch side.
