Artic Cat Hex Clutch

I know this was just brought up a few posts ago but my problem is a little different. i had a spare hex shaft which also includes the fixed sheave so in order to stop the rotation when its fully engaged i decided to weld up the worn down hex at the end. this helped engage it faster and seemed to work better but i think i topped out too fast. is there a way to calm it down a bit.

Change spring weight or ramp angles.

ill have to try that. its been awhile since ive tried the welded up piece so ill kinda have to wait till the ground gets wet or the white stuff to fly. i think i have a better chance at number 1. Thanks RJ by the way
