Clutch Puller 72 lynx

Hi,

Any ideas where I can get a clutch puller for a 1972 Arctic cat lynx. It has a salsbury 770 clutch on it. The typically AC puller does not work, the threads in the clutch are much larger on the 770 clutch. I have been searching tonight, no luck. I have a 780 to put back on it and it will used the "std" AC clutch puller. I just can't get it to budge and know I need the right puller, any ideas are appreciated, thanks.

They used a 2 part puller on those.
All you need is a short(4") bolt that fits the threads and a piece of hardened steel rod about 4" long.

Thanks RJ, I got it this morning. Must be a 7/8 bolt, found one that fit. Rather than using a short piece of hardened steel to "push" I tried the hydraulic method that someone out here posted. I set it on it's side and hit it with some penetrating oil. Then I filled it the rest with some motor oil. Wrapped some Teflon tape around the bolt. The first time I had it to full with oil, so I dropped it down an inch and it worked perfect. Seemed like I hardly had to apply any pressure and it popped right off. Thanks again for the help.
