positive ID needed
i have a 73 polaris, and i've been told that the TX did not come about till 74 and this has a build date of Aug. 72, is there some one out there that can ID my sled by the model number, which is 73D44G4.
and i'll see if i have a pic.

o.k., i pumped the model number into google and got this,
Snowmobiles - TX 440 73D44G4
and is this proof that i have a 73 tx?

I'm almost positive the first part of the model number is the year- 73. You have a 73 TX. Whoever told you 74 is wrong.

in 73 Polaris had 5 TX models 295,340,400,440 and a 500 limited. And 4 models of the TX starfire race sled.
