Forgot all about the mint 1974 Johnson JX400 I picked from a neigbour along with a beat-up 197? Motoski Mirage I think. I borrowed the money from Dad but after we sold the Motoski, he decided to keep the Johnson for himself. Still got to enjoy the sled for free though.

Oh, man, a nice old sled. A 1969 Polaris Charger, it was my mom's sled back in the day, I rode it alot way back in the day, when I was like 5-6, really dunno', but I rode it till I was 10. Than started riding my dads Jags that he bought, a 1979 Jag 3000 f/a and a f/c version, nice sleds, I rebuilt all three last summer. Great fun with these things.

The 89' sprint i'm rebuilding. Got it for 300. I redid the gas lines and rode the hell out of it for years.I used to race my neighbors Liquid 440 and i could stay with him. Cant wait to get it done.

Nice - Those are in nice shape. Did you restore them?

Had 2 of them. One was a 74 440 and the other was a 447.

1970 Ski-Doo 640 TNT. I was 10 at the time. It was a family sled. I later had a 72 Ski-Doo Olympique. But my favorite was a 77 John Deere 300.

My first sled

My first sled was a 1972 Polaris Charger 400 that my Dad bought new I didnt get it till the early 80's. She topped out around 55 or 60 on a good day but she was dependable. Followed by a Rupp Yankee 440 then a Massey fergusan whirlwind 440 that scattered the motor at least twice a year.

Mine was a 1971 moto ski capri 400. It was and still is pretty much when stock unsafe at any speed, but it had a lot of power.

My first sled was a early nintees ski doo 467. It was a great sled that I bought used for 1500 a long time ago. Still have the sled today with 9000 miles on it! Now it has a cooling problem that I don't know how to fix

mine was a 1975 olimpic 340 with black hood. i rode it for 3 sesons hard and fast then i decided one summer to take it for a grss drag and melted the wires for the mag. sold it 3 years ago now. it was a go sled 75 mph beside my car when i had it. i sold it for 60 bucks the guy that bought found out that there was only one wire melted he fixed it and she start still first pull. not a month after then it was christmas and my bro bought me a 97 indy 500 rmk he paid $2000 and i had to pay $500. way over priced no bumper chain chase was broken and held to gather with window silacone. the only thing i liked about it was it was mine it wasn't as old as the dinasours and it was liquid cooled.

1968 Ski-Doo Olympique. No seat, worn primary clutch, and wouldn't turn to save itself, but I drove that thing everywhere.

My first snowmobile was a 1976 ski-doo Olympic 300 twin that never ran quite right! I actually still have it, and it now has 370 cylinders on it now... still not working quite right!
