Second was a 95 Puma bought for 500 at a repo auction in 97
3rd was a 95 zr700 I rode it from the trailer to the grage and then the garage to a new guys trailer lol decided I wanted a powder sled.
Then the rest that I still own but the franken panther is sold once its finished.

No, I dont think I got the Jag you restored. Mine is definently not restored! It is not in that bad of condition, If I redid the hood and belly pan it would look like new. My dad bought the jag from a dealer in Warren, MN. It was sitting outside, so the motor had ice in the crankcase, and it was locked up. It was missing a few minor parts. That jag (first jag)sat in the shop for about 1 month and then one day when I was in school my dad sold my El Tigre(I still drove it at the time) and bought a jag that ran,(second Jag) but after about a month of driving it we put pistons and rings in it because it would shut off if you drove it for a while and it was hard to start when it was warm. When we did that, I put the motor out of the second Jag Into the first jag and switched all of the parts that the first jag needed(we made one out of two). Plus the first jag had a rubber track(the second didnt) and a better condition hood, belly pan, and seat. That is the story of how I got my Jag.

I'd like to have a freeair Jag but it seems like most of them have been beaten absolutely to death. I guess they got relegated to be kids sleds and trashed... I know where theres a nice fan cooled one but the guy doesn't want to sell...

I think fan cooled Jags are better because you dont have to mix gas and you dont have to drive fast to cool them. My brother has a 75 Polaris Colt. It is free air. It goes faster than my Jag but who cares?

I was ten years old when I first started driving a snowmobile, which was '73 Elan twin....those things can go anywhere. And now I'm doing a moto-ski mirage resto.

I've got a '71 303, as a matter of fact I think I'll go out and weld up the exhaust on it right now... I haven't gotten to ride it much because of exhaust pipe troubles...

My first sled was a 1979 Polaris Centurion 500 triple. I still own it, and its still a beast for what it is. But will never compare to my newer toys

When I was 16 or 17 I bought a 68 Aloette GT with a 290 Sachs single cylinder engine. The sled could achieve 32 miles per hour.Only had it for one season or so. Had tons of fun.Sold it to a friend, bought a 71 moto-ski. That didn't last long either, had several John Deeres,an El-tigre and several Yamahas. Now I'm 39 and ride an 87 Yamaha Enticer 340 and love it. My son who is 14 rides a 79 Enticer.

First sled was a 68 AMF ski dadler. It looked like a train. Big one cylinder kohler. 372 cc. I had to share with my brother. I think we worked on it more than we rode it. Then I got my own 72 Scorpion Super Stinger 440. White hood and black seat. My friend had the red metal flake one. That was a good look in the day. They were good going straight but on a trail it was alot of work to keep control of it. They had a cool sound to them.

My first was a 1981 Polaris cutlass 340.My dad bought it brand new. I believe they only made them that one year. Direct drive (no chaincase)so it was light and very low profile. That sled is still in the family and going strong!
